This is a no bake recipe for a quick and easy snack that will boost your energy.
150 g pitted dates
150 g peanut butter
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
75 g oats, pre-ground into fine flour
25 g protein powder
150 g dark chocolate
Method of preparation:
Put the dates, peanut butter and vanilla extract into a blender and blend until you get a perfectly smooth texture.
Add the oatmeal and protein, and blend again until the ingredients are evenly mixed.
From the resulting mixture, form balls the size of a walnut. Transfer them onto a plate and refrigerate for 30-40 minutes until the bites harden.
Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in a water bath.
Cool the chocolate, then roll the bites in one by one, and place them on baking paper. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before you enjoy them!
They can be stored for 5-6 days.
